The CLTS Foundation was formed by the pioneer of CLTS, Dr. Kamal Kar, to meet the growing demand for a common global platform for practitioners, trainers and users of CLTS.
The CLTS Foundation works closely with associates and practitioners of CLTS in different countries. It bridges the gaps between the various development actors who have taken up CLTS in the last decade.
The CLTS Foundation is based in India but works across many countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America providing capacity building, advocacy and knowledge management support. The Foundation has also been active in producing print and electronic materials on CLTS.
