An eleven member delegation team from Development Organization of the Rural Poor (DORP), a national NGO based in Bangladesh visited CLTS Foundation’s office in Kolkata for discussions and orientation on CLTS on 19th February 2013. This rights based organization has been working in Bangladesh since 1987 and mainly focuses on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector since 2005 in coastal area, Haor area, flood prone area and plain land in Bangladesh.

We facilitated a one day orientation discussion in our office and Dr Shibani Goswami, Director of Health; SUDA, gave a presentation on urban CLTS, the study of Kalyani Municipality, the first town to become open defecation free (ODF) using the CLTS approach. Apart from the orientation discussion on CLTS, the team engaged
